IntePros was founded in December 1996 By John Kovalcik, a naval academy graduate (Class of 1978) and former navy fighter pilot. John has built a culture at IntePros based upon the principles he experienced as a navy fighter pilot: precision, integrity and execution. Our Top Gun Solutions model embodies these same principles to deliver outstanding technology solutions – and service to our clients.
John, and his wife, Loren started IntePros Consulting as venture in systems integration and outsourcing of Information Technology (IT) professionals. By combining his technology background and the public company experience he acquired at Computerware and Elcom Intl. with the leadership, precision and aggressiveness discipline from 10 years of Naval Aviation, IntePros with John “in the cockpit” has achieved great success as an IT professional services and system integration firm. The first office opened in May 1997 with three staff members. IntePros is woman owned and has over 250 consultants, account executives, recruiters and administrative staff with offices in Lexington, MA, and Plymouth Meeting, PA. IntePros Federal was formed in 2009 and is a service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) based in Rockville, MD and has over 60 employees. They are focused in IT enterprise services for the federal government Agencies and DOD.
